DISCOVER NKBA PUBLIC EVENT

If you are thinking of remodeling a Kitchen or Bath, October 10 is a day you won’t want to miss!  International Market Square and the MN Chapter of the National Kitchen and Bath Association invite you to a special event!

The Discover NKBA Kick-Off Event at IMS will be host to remodelers, designers and product representatives who specialize in Kitchens and Baths.  We invite you to learn, plan, and connect with us for your project!

Schedule of Events:
10am – 11am: Opening Panel Discussion – Hear from several local experts in Kitchen and Bath remodeling.  Topics include how to choose a remodeler for your project, the latest in “Tile Style,” and more.  Coffee and Pastries provided by Midwest Home Magazine.

10am – 1pm: Member Showcase - View the latest in products from local tile, plumbing, and cabinetry suppliers.  Meet Kitchen and Bath designers and remodelers and review their projects.  View the 2009 Kitchen and Bath Design Award Winners.
***Sign up for the Designer Meet session from 11:30am – 12:30pm.  This is your chance to meet several Kitchen and Bath designers and find the right one for your project!

12pm:  Lunch - Browse the Kitchen and Bath showrooms at IMS and feast on a variety of delicious cuisine by D’Amico Catering.

1pm – 2:30pm: Special Presentation – What’s Hot and What’s Not in Kitchens and Baths” presented by Jim Krengel, CMKBD.
----Jim Krengel, CMKBD, is no stranger to the Kitchen and Bath industry.  A 38 year veteran, he began his career in 1966 at Kitchens by Krengel  in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Today, that design studio is in it’s third generation of ownership and Jim spends the majority of his time writing and lecturing.  Jim earned his accreditation as a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) in 1974 and was one of the first 10 Certified Bathroom Designers (CBD).  In 2002 Jim was inducted into the Kitchen and Bathroom Industry HALL of FAME for his contributions to the industry as well as being granted status as a Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer (CMKBD).  In October 2004, Jim received  “Remodeling Magazines” FOUNDATION AWARD for Lifetime Achievement in the remodeling industry.
